The Chestermere Summer Carnival has come and gone but won’t soon be forgotten. This much-anticipated event brought a real buzz to Chestermere during June, filling the air with music and excitement. Organized by Wild Rose Shows in collaboration with the City of Chestermere, thousands would visit the carnival grounds to take part in the thrill.
The Carnival provided an excellent opportunity for residents to come together and experience something new. Much like the Calgary Stampede or Stanley Cup Playoffs, there was tangible buzz in Chestermere during the Summer Carnival. And we’re hoping to bring it back.

With over approximately 10,000 attendees, the carnival exceeded all attendance records to the astonishment of the organizers. The sheer number of people packed at John Peake Park is a testament of the popularity of the event and the undeniable appeal it held for the community. As the grounds buzzed with laughter and energy, it became clear that the Chestermere Summer Carnival had become a highly anticipated highlight on our event calendar.
Despite colossal turnout, the carnival was flawlessly executed with minimal issues. The organizers and the City worked closely together to ensure a smooth, safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees. From the layout of the grounds to the management of attractions and organizing of entertainment and transportations – every aspect was carefully considered, resulting in a well-structured and efficiently run event. This seamless organization was noticed by attendees who were able to enjoy themselves for the duration of the weekend without any major disruptions.
