If you’re a fan of outdoor fun and games, Chestermere has just added a fantastic new activity to its roster – Disc Golf! Also known as frisbee golf or even “frolf”, this exciting game takes the best elements of traditional ball golf and gives it a fresh twist, replacing golf balls and clubs with discs.
The new nine basket disc golf course can be found behind St. Gabriel High School, providing a ton of green space for a relaxing round of disc golf. As you step up to each tee, you’ll notice red circular markers in the ground, clearly indicating the hole number. Signs indicating the layout distance will also be installed soon! This makes it easy for both beginners and seasoned players to navigate the course.
Another exciting feature of the course is the UDisc App; this integration opens a world of convenience for players. With the UDisc App, say goodbye to getting lost or finding your tee on the course because interactive maps will be at your fingertips, ensuring you always know where the basket is and where to find the next tee.
To make things even more user-friendly, you’ll be able to scan the QR code provided, and use the app to keep score and navigate the course effortlessly. Plus, this app will come in handy if you want to explore other disc golf courses and leagues in the area!
So, whether you’re a seasoned disc golfer or looking to try something new, the Westmere Disc Golf Course in Centennial Park is the place to be. It’s a perfect way to spend a sunny afternoon! Plus, it’s free! Enjoy the great outdoors! Have a blast with friends and family.
