The City of Chestermere is proud to be home to many diverse and hardworking Community Organizations and Not-For-Profit groups. These groups bring people together and offer a range of services to the community with the support, teamwork and understanding that helps make Chestermere such an amazing place to live.

Synergy

 

Synergy is committed to the development of community organizations as well as our youth. We support these valuable groups with workshops, volunteer support, and sharing knowledge.

Chestermere Womens Crisis Society

Chestermere Womens Crisis Society envisions a world without violence against women and a world where women are safe and have easy access to basic needs for themselves and their children. The effort needs to be made to provide public education as a preventative measure on all forms of abuse and the access to basic needs for women and children.

Chestermere Historical Foundation

Founded in 2011 this local organization is dedicated to preserving Chestermere's history and providing education about the early days of life in the Chestermere area for adults and children.

Strathmore Venom Lacrosse

Strathmore Lacrosse is part of the Calgary District Lacrosse Association (CDLA) along with 7 other member clubs from Calgary and area.
The purpose of the club is to offer an opportunity for young athletes in the Chestermere/Strathmore/Langdon and area to learn and play box lacrosse.

Chestermere Whitecappers Association

Our mission is to provide a venue and opportunities for Chestermere and area seniors to gather congenially to keep in touch with each other and the community through social events, activities, informative presentations and entertainment. To receive information and have opportunity to input regarding services which contribute to their quality of life; and to foster fellowship and friendship which impart the comfort and security of living among helpful, caring friends.

Calgary Catholic Immigration Society

CCIS (Calgary Catholic Immigration Society) is a non-profit organization which provides settlement and integration services to all immigrants and refugees in Southern Alberta.

Prospect Human Services

Prospect helps people get jobs. We’re a not-for-profit and registered charity, so while the bottom line can’t be ignored, it’s not our priority. You are.
