We’ve got some important information to share with you! The Wheatland Regional Emergency Management Partnership (WREMP), in collaboration with Wheatland County, the City of Chestermere, the Town of Strathmore, and the Villages of Hussar, Rockyford, and Standard, is gearing up for a vital emergency simulation exercise upcoming on September 28.

During this time, you may notice an increase in emergency vehicles and personnel in our city. Please don’t be alarmed! These vehicles are here to help us prepare for any unforeseen situations and ensure our community’s safety.

Here’s what you need to know:

Date: September 28
Location: Camp Chestermere, the Chestermere Rec Centre & Surrounding Area
Purpose: To enhance our emergency response capabilities

This exercise is a crucial part of our ongoing commitment to keeping Chestermere and its residents safe. It allows our dedicated first responders and emergency services to practice and refine their skills so they can better serve you in times of need.

Your safety is our top priority, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this exercise. While this is ongoing, we kindly ask you to stay clear of the training area and give personnel the room they need to work.

Thank you for being an essential part of our community, and together, we’ll continue to make Chestermere a safe and resilient place to call home.
